Agricultural machinery training specialist

Terapro Agriculture, dealer for the renowned New Holland brand, distinguishes itself in the sale and maintenance of new and used agricultural equipment. A full range of state-of-the-art machinery is offered, including tractors, combines, foragers and more, to suit all land management needs.

Terapro Agriculture is looking for an agricultural machinery training specialist. The candidate may be based in one of our 10 branches in Quebec.

The  training specialist plays a central role in the ongoing training of sales representatives, providing technical support and organizing clinics to promote agricultural equipment. He/she contributes to increasing sales and customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and mentor new sales representatives;
• Provide comprehensive training on products represented by Terapro AG;
• Develop and implement training plans (machinery, etc.);
• Plan, organize and run customer clinics (training sessions and demonstrations);
• Accompany field representatives to support sales (demonstrations, field adjustments).
• Answer technical questions from sales reps and customers;
• Understand and promote product advantages over the competition;
• Participate in training sessions with our various suppliers.

Profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the agricultural equipment industry.
• Diploma or training in agronomy, agricultural mechanics, sales or business management;
• Good teaching support skills;
• Enthusiastic and sociable personality, with the ability to lead and train;
• Available for regular travel;
• Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written, to deal with suppliers outside Quebec.
