Accounting clerk

For our branch located in Varennes we are looking for a motivated accounting clerk to join our team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for effectively managing the company's customer collections accounts and payables, ensuring that payments to suppliers are processed accurately and on time. This is an essential role in our organization to maintain good relationships with our suppliers and customers to ensure the smooth running of our financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and record supplier invoices in the accounting system;
• Ensure that all invoices are properly approved and comply with internal procedures;
• Prepare and process timely payments to suppliers;
• Customer receivables management, including payment follow-up and reminders in the event of late payment.

Profile

• Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP) in accounting or equivalent training;
• Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles;
• Good oral communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Attention to detail and thoroughness;
• Written and spoken bilingualism (French and English) to deal with French and English-speaking customers and suppliers.
