What is water tolerance?
Water tolerance is the ability of a fluid to absorb excess moisture and keep it suspended away from metal parts.
How does water enter the hydraulic system?
Water will always find a way into your machine. When equipment is shut down after running at high temperatures, condensation occurs, leading to water accumulation in the hydraulic transmission system. Such a situation can cause a loss of additives that could reduce machine performance. Condensation can also occur in bulk storage containers. HY-TRANMD Premium fluid is an industry leader in water tolerance. HY-TRANMD Premium keeps water suspended in the fluid, away from metal parts, without losing additives that could clog filters.
Why is water tolerance important?
